Samsung Launches Galaxy S8 In India

New Samsung Gear 360 (2017) App Hits Google Play Store

Yes, this upcoming mid-ranger from Samsung has made an appearance online showing us a glimpse of what to expect from it in future when it comes out.

Samsung appears to be busy preparing for the release of its flagship, the Galaxy S8, at the moment after the recent announcement but there are two handsets from J-series - the Galaxy J5 (2017) and Galaxy J7 (2017) - that are in the offing.

According to iFixit, the only positive thing about the phone's hardware and components is that most of it seems to be modular, so you can replace them independently as opposed to having to replace an entire group. This can be authenticated with Samsung Pay even in India.

Sources say Samsung has set the sales target at more than 60 million units for the S8, which compares to some 52 million unit sales of the predecessor S7. The bigger Galaxy S8+ price in India will be Rs. 69,000 (MRP), and the MOP is Rs. 64,900. Other regions will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. This is because both the variants have similar characteristics.
