SpaceX's Falcon Heavy to launch Musk's Tesla into space on Feb

Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, confirmed that there will be a launch date for the Falcon Heavy rocket, "in a week or so", after running a test on all 27 engines on the massive spacecraft. "Launching in a week or so".

This week's video comes from Florida where SpaceX has conducted a static firing test on Falcon Heavy, a launch vehicle created to lift over 54 metric tons of payload into orbit.

Musk tweeted out the flight is aimed for February 6 from Apollo launchpad 39A at Cape Kennedy. The first flight has been delayed by several years.

As with all static fires of flight-proven boosters, the static fire was anticipated to last 7 seconds from the time of engine ignition to engine shutdown. He heads up the Tesla electric auto company, as well as SpaceX and several other companies. However, Musk has said that the rocket could fail on its debut test flight. In comparison, the company's Falcon 9 rocket, used to launch Zuma and to deliver cargo to and from the International Space Station, only has nine engines.

'Bored' German serial killer nurse charged with 97 more murders
The nurse worked at a clinic from 1999 to 2002 in Oldenburg, and from 2003 to 2005 in Delmenhorst , both in the country's north. German prosecutors made a stunning announcement Monday, charging Niels Hoegel with 97 murders of patients in his care.

Falcon Heavy would carry a red Tesla Roadster and the payload will be injected into an orbit around the sun that lies between Earth's orbit and Mars' orbit. He laid out the jaw-dropping plan in a series of tweets earlier this month.

The SpaceX CEO has said the vehicle will remain in "deep space for a billion years or so if it doesn't blow up on ascent". That's been customary ever since a Falcon 9 exploded during a 2016 practice engine firing, destroying both rocket and satellite.

The Falcon Heavy carries the largest payload amount since the Saturn V rocket, which carried out a 310,000 pounds into space.

The Falcon Heavy will have double the thrust of the next biggest rocket out there today, according to Musk. After blasting off from NASA's historic Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center, all three will attempt vertical landings, two on land and one on a floating offshore platform.
