Andre Drummond Pokes Fun At Jaylen Brown's All-Star Hopes

Ben Simmons has again been snubbed by NBA All-Stars selectors, missing out to Andre Drummond to replace the injured guard John Wall.

Both things have come under some amount of criticism.

This year's All-Star Game features teams picked by captains LeBron James and Steph Curry, for the first time, a departure from the traditional team structure by conference.

Star Philadelphia point guard Simmons was thought a chance to be called up after Washington's Wall was sidelined from the February 18 showpiece game with a knee injury.

Simmons is averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.3 assists a game over the season, and is the favourite to win the NBA's Rookie of the Year award.

Whatever may occur, we aren't likely to be left in suspense for long - DeMarcus Cousins was ruled out of the match through injury earlier this month and his replacement, Paul George, was announced within 24 hours.

The court also heard that an embassy official met the suspects before they fled and facilitated their check-in at the airport. Kim Jong Nam was thought to be the heir apparent to be the leader of North Korea, but fell out of favor.

Not exactly known for his reserved attitude, and obviously infuriated with his original snub, Drummond chose to respond to those tweets with an Instagram comment on Tuesday night. On Tuesday, the National Basketball Association announced that Detroit Pistons big man Andre Drummond would replace Wall.

Wall missed Saturday's game against Atlanta to visit Dr. Richard D. Parker in Cleveland for a second opinion on his knees, which led to his decision to undergo surgery.

Drummond is averaging an NBA-best and career-high 15.1 rebounds a game as well as 14.7 points, 1.37 blocked shots and career highs of 3.8 assists and 1.54 steals.

Simmons is one of a handful of worthy candidates to replace Love. He'll probably end up on some All-Star teams in the future.

Miami is 29-21, fourth in the East and without an All-Star representative. His name is Magic Johnson, and he was an All-Star that season.
