WWE SmackDown Top 5 Segments: The Usos Still Have Teams On Lock

A fatal four-way match determines who will challenge Bobby Roode for the United States Championship next week, the tag division is heavily featured, and the main event features the dream team of AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

We're doing an abbreviated version of the WWE SmackDown Live results tonight, kiddos. He lists all of the men he kneed in the face on his way to winning the Rumble before saying that he is going to do that to AJ Styles and become the new WWE Champion. However, an instant replay review revealed that Owens missed a tag from Sami Zayn ever so slightly, so Owens technically was not the legal man. They begin the show by interrupting Nakamura and letting him know they were screwed out of the title on a botched call from the ref. Then the cracks start to show when they're put into a tag match with Nakamura and Styles. The show isn't quite looking ahead to Fastlane just yet-though Daniel Bryan tells Owens and Zayn that they'll be wrestling each other next week in order to determine who will face Styles for the WWE Championship at the PPV, a decision Shane immediately says he'll "talk to Bryan about"-but it is putting pieces in place in interesting ways". The victor of the match would determine who would get the opportunity to challenge Bobby Roode for the United States Title. According Roode on commentary, the victor of this match will challenge for the US Title next week.

Rusev beats on Zack in the ring, then at ringside as Kofi is in with Jinder, the two exchanging quick two counts before Jinder drops Kofi with a boot. While that wouldn't be a bad idea due to them being over with the WWE crowd with the Rusev Day, it won't last.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs. WrestleMania is 68 days from now, so it was the right move to successfully team them up to further what's happening between Owens and Zayn. The aforementioned bickering wasn't finished between the two competitors in next week's No. 1 contender match, though, as they violently slapped each other with tags before Zayn stormed off twice.

After being asked by Renee Young about the Women's Royal Rumble match, Charlotte Flair starts to address the Ronda Rousey situation. Nice to be reminded that the briefcase exists and that she could use it at any time, even if WWE hasn't been teasing it enough. The Riott Squad comes out, and Ruby calls Charlotte a cheap imitation of her father.

San Francisco Is Tossing Out Thousands Of Marijuana Convictions
San Francisco Supervisor Malia Cohen told WaPo , "There are thousands of cases that are going to be dismissed at no cost". The 4,940 felony convictions are unlikely to be expunged completely, but many could receive a sentence reduction.

- Carmella tried to cash-in her Money In the Bank title shot against SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair on tonight's SmackDown episode but it backfired on her and the bell never rang.

Baron Corbin defeated Tye Dillinger. Though if you're interested, Corbin was the victor of the match with Tye Dillinger.

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin vs. Tyler Breeze and Fandango: A showcase win for Gable and Benjamin. AJ pushes Owens into Sami, knocking him to the floor, and Sami really leaves this time.

WWE presented a rather listless edition of SmackDown Live on Tuesday. Owens is known to turn on his friends so if he loses, he could snap again and he and Zayn could go back to being enemies.
