Authorities identify man seen in disturbing child pornography video that went viral

Police are asking members of the public not to share a viral Facebook video of a child performing a sex act on an adult, The Vindicator's broadcast partner, 21 WFMJ-TV reported.

The 44-year-old Moore also is charged in Detroit in the sexual assault of three young female relatives.

It isn't totally clear how far the messages have actually spread - numerous police statements seem pre-emptive, and it's possible that the spread of the video is more limited than the widespread warnings might suggest.

The man suspected of criminal sexual misconduct in a child porn video has been taken into custody.

Moore has been described by the state police as being 6-feet tall and weighing about 214 pounds, AL reported. He also has active warrants in Detroit, Michigan.

State Bureau of Investigation Lt. Brooke Walker says Moore's fiancee was arrested Monday night and is not cooperating. The video circulated on Facebook and other social media.

Stocks Post Biggest Drop of New Year
Express Scripts, McKesson, Humana, Cigna, UnitedHealth , CVS Health and Centene were down between 5.3 percent and 7.2 percent. Declining issues outnumbered advancing ones on the NYSE by a 4.65-to-1 ratio; on Nasdaq, a 2.16-to-1 ratio favored decliners.

A Detroit man who is believed to be behind a widely-shared video of child pornography is in custody in Alabama.

According to the Daily Mail, Moore faces charges of sexual assault of a child, distribution of a video depicting the assault and first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Montgomery Police arrested Jerrell Washington, 42, with one count each of possession and dissemination of child pornography, the department said Monday, and he is being held under $100,000 bond. Police detectives have contacted authorities in Alabama, and police there say the child has been found and is safe.

The video spread as many across the region attempted to get the word out and find the person responsible.

"We do not allow the sharing of child exploitative images on Facebook or Messenger - even to express outrage".

Germaine Moore and Tonya Moore were booked in the Elmore County Detention Facility. "Regardless of intention, sharing such imagery is harmful and illegal", Facebook said in response to the video, according to southern Louisiana station KLFY.
