Detroit Pistons add Jameer Nelson, James Ennis before trade deadline

The NBA suspended Reed this week for six games without pay because of a domestic violence incident in August.

In giving up Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley and Boban Marjanovic, along with two draft picks, the Pistons also gave up much of their depth.

What did the Pistons get from this trade? He was traded to Chicago last week in the multi-player deal that sent Nikola Mirotic to the Pelicans, but he didn't play in a game for the Bulls. He was acquired by the Pistons from the Los Angeles Clippers as part of the Blake Griffin deal on January 29.

Adding Nelson, who's reunited with Stan Van Gundy after serving as his starting point guard during Van Gundy's time with the Orlando Magic, looks mostly like an insurance move for Detroit.

Nelson, 6-0, 190, has averaged 11.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 28.0 minutes in 871 career National Basketball Association games with Orlando, Dallas, Boston, Denver and New Orleans.

Safety system install had signals out during deadly SC train crash
In December, three people were killed and dozens more injured when another train derailed near DuPont, Washington. The NTSB said investigators recovered video from a forward-facing camera on the Amtrak train .

With Detroit's newfound strengths and the fact that they are unbeaten since the Blake Griffin trade, we could say that they are going to make the playoffs this year.

With just hours now to go until we reach the 2018 National Basketball Association trade deadline, the Detroit Pistons have reportedly agreed to a second deal of the day.

In 45 games with Memphis this season, the impending free agent Ennis averaged 6.9 points and 3.5 rebounds.

Ennis, 27, is in his fourth National Basketball Association season, averaging 6.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in his career.

Ennis has been a solid rotation player for the Grizzlies the past two seasons after they plucked him out of the G League, then lost him to the Pelicans and re-signed him. But at least he's just 27 if the Bulls want to take a flier on evaluating him for next season, and moving up in the second round only helps.
