'Red Sparrow' actress Jennifer Lawrence says Versace dress was 'my choice'

Finally accepting that she is the true Katniss Everdeen, Lawrence is taking on President Snow, sorry, Trump, by stepping away for a year from acting to focus on activism. "If I saw Jennifer Lawrence, I already met her so, so I don't know why I would still be geeking out", he admitted to ET last month.

The "Red Sparrow" actress is already working with the anti-corruption charity, and recently surprised a group of high school students at Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland, Ohio with a talk about politics in association with the charity. If you have five minutes to hear their pitch, here it is.

Now Lawrence has turned up online to shoot the discussion down, calling the controversy "utterly ridiculous" and stressing that it was her choice to wear the dress.

Critics pointed out that her male co-stars looked comfortably bundled up in the England cold and argued that Jennifer's look was another example of Hollywood's sexism.

One twitter user wrote: 'This is such a quietly depressing (and revealing) image.

"I'm going to take the next year off", Lawrence outlined.

Oxfam unveils action plan after stain of sexual abuse scandal
He added: "Anything we say is being manipulated. even apologies only make matters worse". Oxfam has nearly 10,000 staff working in more than 90 countries across the globe.

And while the actress looks undeniably stunning, she equally looks freezing cold in the 5°C British weather.

Hence why Jennifer Lawrence's latest photocall for Red Sparrow has polarised fans online.

"I didn't realize he was so young", she said. "This is sexist, this is ridiculous, this is not feminism".

"So you know I'm always gonna take on roles for the same reason, you know, the character speaks to me and the director and the story", she explained. Over-reacting about everything someone says or does, creating controversy over silly things such as what I choose to wear or not, is not moving us forward.

Lawrence added she had emailed Lumley after the ceremony to apologise and received a response saying: "I have no idea what you're talking about". In the words of JLaw get a grip, people. It is creating silly distractions from the real issues. "Everything you see me wear is my choice", she said. "Because I'd be like, "I don't want the robe".
