What Chandler Riggs Told Us About The Walking Dead's Big Flash-Forward Reveal

With Carl's death marking the biggest departure from the comics to date, we're at the point in the show where the two properties could seriously diverge. As he's dying, Carl wants his dad to be happy again.

Here are the 5 moments that had us breaking down in tears. or screaming "WTF' at the TV screen".

In this episode, there are new details in Carl's ideal dream-future which are clear signs of things that need to happen before peace can be achieved. We don't quite think anyone out there is going to be over what happens with Chandler Riggs' and his character of Carl for quite some time. Watching Rick try to keep it together is gut-wrenching. I remember reading the script and I was just like, 'Awww I'm really going to have to do all this?

Were there any lingering storylines from the show that you wish Carl had been able to finish or any moments that you wish you could've done that you didn't get to do?

Or will she just be part of the problem? Preserving his life and creating a better world for Carl served as Rick's primary motivation.

The opening of the episode - titled "Honour" - caught viewers up on Carl's journey from the moment he got bitten to the tunnels underneath Alexandria as we learned of his fate at the same time as his father Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and surrogate mother, Michonne (Danai Gurira). What would you say that those were?

Her response: "You're mine too". In Rick's dream-like fantasy future?

Active weather Thursday includes ice, snow and plenty of rain
On top of the ice, locations across Mid-Michigan will encounter scattered rain showers and possibly a few snow showers mixed in. Freezing drizzle is expected across all but southeastern parts of the state Thursday , the National Weather Service reports.

"You did it so I could change".

"I can't be who I was. It still is. It can be like that again", he said. "There's gotta be something after". There's only a few of us left. The season 8 midseason premiere showed new scenes of this future five years from the present. Let us know your thoughts below - and if you're in Atlanta and in need of watching the episode with fans - check out the wonderful event that IronE Singleton (T-Dog from The Walking Dead) is putting on at his home and live streaming on Sunday night! "But I have", he told his dad. "When you lose those key members, it's such a big blow to the show, and to the fans, and to us that are there". Whether or not that's the same endgame that's in the producers' heads or the people I work with, is another matter. Everybody living, helping everybody else live. In this week's episode, we found out that those weren't real, or the future: they were Carl's vision of what the future could be, right before he died. I mean, goddamn! He ripped out a dude's heart-intestine-lung through a bullet wound. In one, Rick ends up bleeding out under a tree, imploring forgiveness from the world. Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl, stated that he "was desperately unhappy" about Carl's death and always thought "Chandler would be the last man standing, to be honest".

As for Carl's death, well, they certainly dragged it out with one poignant sequence after another: Carl penning good-bye letters to family and friends ... Since that time, they've turned that around. He was unraveling, fast.

Ezekiel's credo is directed at Savior capo Gavin. It's hard to say, but the lack of music, the lighting, and the setting do help.

Carol and Morgan do prevail, but in killing the Saviors, Morgan, the old killing machine, returns.

Safe to sat this is not the future Carl wants.

"These people, you saved them all". Because it did. So that's what I'm gonna do.
