Attorney: ESPN's report about Deandre Ayton is 'false and unfounded'

Arizona was named in a separate ESPN report Friday night, claiming head coach Sean Miller had discussed on the phone paying to have Deandre Ayton attend Arizona.

"I am aware of media reports and public reaction suggesting that University of Arizona Men's Basketball student-athlete Deandre Ayton should not be deemed eligible to compete due to a perception that he or his family received money or other benefits in connection with his recruitment at Arizona".

Outside counsel Paul Kelly said law firms working for Arizona don't have access to Federal Bureau of Investigation wiretaps & haven't been told what's in them.

An attorney for the law firm hired by Arizona to internally review the school's alleged involvement in an FBI bribery investigation released a statement on Sunday, one in which he strongly defends freshman center Deandre Ayton. After news of the findings broke, a lawyer for Ayton's parents issued a statement denying any wrongdoing by Ayton and that the reports about his receiving the money were outrageous and disgusting.

Whether or not that's the same endgame that's in the producers' heads or the people I work with, is another matter. Carol and Morgan do prevail, but in killing the Saviors, Morgan, the old killing machine, returns.

OR rallied Saturday to beat the Wildcats 98-93 in overtime at the Matthew Knight Arena. "Not a shred of evidence has been adduced suggesting otherwise, which federal investigators and the NCAA officials have acknowledged".

"I believe it is in the best interests of our team that I not coach the game tonight".

Ayton is averaging 19.9 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. He is projected by most experts to be the No. 1 or 2 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

Paul Kelly is the Boston attorney hired as outside counsel for the University of Arizona to investigate the FBI matter.
