Bills to trade LT Cordy Glenn to Bengals

Buffalo traded Cordy Glenn to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson who first reported the developments.

The Bills will no hold the 12th and 22nd overall picks in the first round along with multiple second and third round picks in the 2018 Draft.

The moves help place the Bills in a position to use one of their first-round picks to draft a quarterback.

Buffalo also receives Cincinnati's sixth-round pick (No. 187) and the Bengals get the Bills' fifth-round pick (No. 158). The team could still package their draft picks to move up higher in the draft if they really want someone specific.

Last week, the Bills agreed to trade quarterback Tyrod Taylor to the Cleveland Browns. He is under contract through 2020 and the Bengals are inheriting that deal, with $7.25 million base salaries in 2019 and 2020 and more $2 million roster bonuses.

US Cautions Nigeria, Other African Countries On Chinese Loan
For context, by the year 2050, Nigeria will have a population larger than the U.S. and an economy larger than Australia's. Donald Trump's interaction with Africa since he was sworn in as America's president has been cold and limited.

This is a direct response to Cedric Ogbuehi being unable to fill in at left tackle after Andrew Whitworth left in free agency a year ago. He only played in eleven games these season while rookie Dion Dawkins saw playing time in 16 games.

As long as he's healthy, Glenn will be an instant upgrade over any tackle that the Bengals now have on the roster.

Last summer, Glenn missed a significant portion of training camp and the preseason because of a lingering foot and ankle injury. He was then placed on the season-ending injured reserve in Week 15 after being unable to play in five straight weeks before that.

However, with the New York Jets and Denver Broncos also possibly needing to trade up to grab a quarterback, the Colts may be in a prime position for a bidding war that now includes the Bills.

Glenn signed a five-year, $60 million contract with the Bills in May 2016, but that was before Brandon Beane became the Bills general manager and Sean McDermott became their head coach.
