Children search for 1100 eggs in Spring Valley

Eager children with baskets in hand lined a field near the Seguin Events Complex and fairgrounds on Saturday.

The faint beeping of a hot pink egg draws the attention of nearby students and soon they home in on the device during a special Easter egg hunt for visually impaired children.

He says hosting events like this is a way he can bring hope and joy to families.

Both Wampole and Moyle, of Eau Claire, said they grew up participating every year in the egg hunt. There was 60 dollars spread evenly between the four categories.

"I wish we had great shots of thousands of people out here with eggs and insane kids going everywhere, but this is what God did for us and we're going to roll with it and we'll be thankful for everything He gives us". Some exhausted egg hunters were carried away by the parents.

"At first, he wasn't really sure about the whole thing", said Joe Sack of his son, Cooper.

Parents are not impressed after their kids left empty handed at this years Easter egg hunt at the Grounds of Alexandria in Sydney's inner west.

"I'm glad to be here", she said.

"It is a lot of fun", exclaimed Leo, alongside his mother, with her two other sons.

Temps take about a 20° drop from the 80s we've been enjoying and then back into the more seasonal 60s. "It was a great event".

"The city is here to help all types of people and anybody with special needs isn't so different who are not special needs", said resident Richard Linck.

"We do have some older kids", said Minisan, who added that "the whole family enjoys refreshments".

"Ellie was a little nervous, because of all the big kids", Maxwell said. For the younger children, it was toy trucks and bubble sticks.

Joe and Tricia Sack were in from Iowa visiting family with their children, Cooper, 2, and Lila Rose, 3 months, and said they couldn't have been happier to spend time with family at such an event. "When it was all over, I looked at my phone, and it was 11:03".

As hundreds of kids gathered around the Tri-State in search of hidden eggs, a few gathered to search for eggs with the help of the Evansville Police Department's Hazardous Device Unit.

Ranch Riders President Dolf said, "Started out with just our kids and they're grown up now".

"I like going out and finding them. Let the little ones go'".

We'll continue to stay very warm this weekend, as high pressure continues to dominate the region.
