Theresa May, Trump not on Prince Harrys wedding guest list

It's official: The head count at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding next month will include no heads of state.

Neither Former President Barack Obama nor his wife Michelle are invited to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding.

The decision was reached after royal officials consulted with the British government to go over protocol and precedent.

Trump and first lady Melania were not invited, nor were any other elected U.S. officials, a White House official said.

I think we can all agree that it's pretty disappointing that Prince Harry is still planning to marry someone who is not me. The description encourages you to "celebrate THE wedding of the year with this attractive china plate featuring the portraits of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle".

The couple reportedly wants to keep the affair relatively intimate (as intimate as possible, considering the world will be watching) by only inviting guests who know the Harry and Meghan personally.

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace confirmed that "an official list of political leaders, both United Kingdom and worldwide, is not required" for their nuptials. They cite that the smaller size of St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle and Prince Harry's place in the line of succession to the English throne are the two main reasons.

Worth noting, they won't be part of the 600 guests who'll attend the ceremony itself (or the lucky 200 who get to attend the reception).

While it didn't look all that likely that President Trump would be invited, many speculated that the Obamas would be included.

Guest lists have been problematic for many royal couples in the past.

Organizing a wedding and locking down a guest list is a tricky enough business, but when you're a royal, it's a whole different ball game. He also works to raise awareness for the deaf community's needs to access to public services.

Seven recipients of The Diana Award, which recognizes youth who are working to change the world in the memory of William and Harry's mother Princess Diana, are also among those invited, according to a press release.

They will join 500 members of the Royal Household and 100 pupils from two local schools who are also being welcomed into the castle grounds.
