Google to launch new Gmail design soon

G Suite customers apparently received word about this Gmail redesign - so check your inbox ASAP because there's another important feature to take note of: emails self-destruct. The Android and iOS clients both use Material Design, but the web client's interface hasn't been updated for years. Gmail will let users configure expiration date for expiring mails such as a week, month, multiple years, and more.

Gmail is getting a new look-and some new features-when the next update rolls out in a few weeks. These features will be an huge help to businesses that want more control over how emails are used by recipients. Before sending an email, users will be able to specify a time frame post which, the email will be deleted from the recipient's inbox. And as we inch closer to the official launch, reports of the new features have begun pouring in abundance.

The report further suggests that the Confidential Mode is said to allow the users to send self-destructing emails which can be set to prevent the recipient from downloading, forwarding, printing or even copying email content.

Meanwhile, violent clashes are going on in the area with local residents indulging in dingdong stone battles with the forces. Medical sources said that at least 82 people suffered injuries out of which Four civilians succumbed to their injuries.

TechCrunch states that the feature isn't ready yet, as their source arrived at a non-existent page after clicking on the "Learn more" option to open Google's help articles. As for recipients, they are expected to receive a link for expiring email which can be viewed by logging into their Gmail account again.

"The crime and punishment information has become out of date, irrelevant and of no sufficient legitimate interest to users of Google Search to justify its continued availability, so that an appropriate delisting order should be made", Justice Warby of the High Court said, The Telegraph reported. Google workers were concerned about how the application could be weaponized once under ownership of the USA military. The message behind the link disappears after some time, but this doesn't mean that the intermediate email also disappears.

Till 2016 it is not clear that the Pixel name would be used for smartphones and other devices by the company.
