'Crazy Rich Asians' Debuts First Trailer

The story follows Rachel Chu (Wu), an American-born Chinese economics professor who travels to Singapore for her boyfriend's best friend's wedding.

The cast also includes Gemma Chan, Ken Jeong and a blonde, short-haired Awkwafina.

Nina Jacobson (The Hunger Games films), Brad Simpson (World War Z), and John Penotti (Hell or High Water) produced the film, with Tim Coddington, Kevin Kwan, Robert Friedland, and Sidney Kimmel executive producing. We're already counting down the days until this flick hits theaters. Marco Polo's Vanja Cernjul was the director of photography and Fifty Shades Darker's Nelson Coates was the production designer.
