ATP Barcelona - Wednesday Schedule: Nadal, Djokovic, Dimitrov to play

The Serb, who has seen his ranking drop to 12th in the world after struggling with an elbow injury for the best part of two years, had shown glimpses of his former self at the Monte-Carlo Masters last week, reaching the third round before being defeated in three sets by Dominic Thiem.

Twelve-time grand slam victor Djokovic was a late addition to the draw following his third-round exit in Monte Carlo last week, but his stay in Catalunya proved even shorter. This was the first time I played him on clay and I beat him and it feels great.

However Klizan quickly broke serve within the deciding set and, when Djokovic dumped a routine forehand into the web, the Slovakian secured his first ever victory over the Serb.

Djokovic was given a bye in his first spherical in Barcelona, whereas Klizan got here via two qualifying rounds and a good first-round match towards Federico Delbonis.

Since the Australian Open, Djokovic has lost four of his six matches on the ATP Tour and the 12-time Major victor now faces the prospect of competing in just two more tournaments ahead of the second Grand Slam of the year.

Kohli win toss, opt to bowl first again against Delhi Daredevils
On the other hand, Delhi too, had a poor start to their IPL 2018 campaign after losing their first two games against KXIP and RR. There is a sense of evenness to Royal Challengers Bangalore's home fixture against Delhi Daredevils on Saturday (April 21).

"It's hard to deal with these types of games and defeats, I wasn't playing at my best, only during the second set". On the Central Court, named after Rafa Nadal, at 11:00 AM it will be the second seed Grigor Dimitrov and Gilles Simon to open the day.

He went in front again and had match point at 5-3 but could not take advantage, although he comfortably closed the match out with his next service game. "The first round is always hard after coming from Monte Carlo".

The top-ranked Spaniard has won 38 consecutive sets on clay, extending his own record. "However, I started feeling discomfort again during the first set and I did not want to take any risks".

Spanish trio Pablo Andujar, Albert Ramos-Vinolas, and Pablo Carreno Busta, made it to the last 16, along with Jozef Kovalik, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Karen Khachanov.
