The Big Mac-aholic has also kept close tabs on his own stats over the years, estimating that it took him just 356 days to eat his first 1000 Big Macs - which clocks in at more than two per day.

Gorske is already in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Per Wisconsin's Fond du Lac Reporter, Gorske - who holds the Guinness World Record for Most Big Macs Consumed - ate his landmark burger at the same McDonald's franchise where he first tried the menu item back in the early 1970s. Gorske says that when he ate that first Big Mac, there was only one McDonald's in town, and he had just gotten his drivers' license.

STILL NEED: The Cowboys didn't draft a safety despite moving one of last season's starters, Byron Jones, back to cornerback. He is a member of the 1,000-catch club with 1,152, went to 11 Pro Bowls and started 229 of 239 career games.

Gorske - famously featured in the 2004 documentary "Super Size Me" because of his obsession with the 563-calorie, fat-laden sandwiches - insisted that his health is great. Will I still be around that many years in advance? Over the almost 46 years since he had the first Big Mac, Gorske had only gone a total of eight days without eating one.

And on those days, it was because he had to do double shifts at his former job at Waupon Prison and couldn't get out the door.

Big Macs have always been Gorske's thing - he's big enough to have a Wikipedia page detailing his history with the fast-food staple. Before her death, she asked Gorske to skip eating a Big Mac on the day she died, in remembrance of her. On the day that McDonald's founder Ray Kroc died in 1984, Don ate Big Mac number 5,978.
